We exist to reduce the harm alcohol and/or drugs causes to individuals, families and the communities
they live in.
Turning Point Craft Initiative offers hope for those who are serious about wanting to recover from alcohol
and/or drug misuse and work towards a new life - free from their addiction.
At the Day Centre, the Project Manager will work closely with clients to restore self-confidence, dignity
and other life skills needed to equip them to live in the community once more.
TPCI's aim is to teach basic woodturning and woodworking skills, in a purpose built workshop, for people throughout Shetland, who desire to build stable, productive lives free from alcohol and/or drugs misuse.
We aim to provide our clients with a confidential, private and safe environment where they will have the opportunity to realise goals they have set for themselves and maintain their recovery.
Our aim is met by the following objectives:
We do not have a formal referral procedure - all you
